SCHEUCH PRESENTED WITH INEO APPRENTICE AWARD
The ineo gala on 8 November proved to be a great evening for Scheuch, which came in the top 3 for the “Large companies with more than 250 employees” category and achieved first place in the “Apprenticeships and disability” category. The prize was proudly received by Head of Human Resources Michaela Endl and apprentice trainer Manfred Kassik.
Every year, the WKO (Austrian economic chamber) in Upper Austria presents the ineo award to companies with exemplary training programmes. ineo stands for the key principles of “Innovation”, “Nachhaltigkeit”, “Engagement” and “Orientierung” (innovation, sustainability, commitment and orientation). The award is designed to help young applicants and their parents to choose a company with excellent training opportunities. On 8 November, Scheuch was delighted to receive two accolades – it was one of the top three companies in the “Large companies with more than 250 employees” category and clinched first place in the special category “Apprentices and disability”. Scheuch has an in-house apprentice workshop in which it trains young people of all abilities, including those with reading and writing difficulties or those with a physical disability.
“We are very proud of the fact that our efforts in the field of apprentice training have been seen and recognised. We think it is particularly important to provide individual support to every young person who chooses to complete an apprenticeship with us.”
